This session will cover a guided tour on applying Agile thinking to software architecture and design. During the practical hands-on session you will learn techniques to elicit quality requirements, evaluate solutions and document an Architecture Description.

Learning Objectives:

  • How to create “Light Design up-front”
  • Object-oriented analysis and design in context of Agile
  • Non-functional Requirements analysis and management
  • Architecture style, mechanisms and pattern selection

Audience:

Anyone involved in agile architecture and design

Requirements:

Audience will be divided into groups that will collaborate to create an Architecture Description. Groups will be expected to have:

  • Multiple laptops with text editor / word processor
  • Trello account (For task-board)
  • Dropbox access (For templates)
