Magic Scrum Gathering is here!

We hope you are as excited as we are about Magic Scrum Gathering. Here are some final details of what you need to know for the event.

Getting There

The event will be held at Kelvin Grove in Claremont, Cape Town. We are positioned next to Newlands Cricket Grounds at 144 Campground Road. Find the map including detailed directions from major highways here http://www.kelvingrove.co.za/contact.htm

Parking will be available on Kelvin Grove grounds, just be sure to mention you are attending the Scrum Gathering at the security gate.

The Program

Registration starts at 8am on Tues, 22 OCT accompanied by coffee and light snacks and proceedings start at 9am. Refreshments included in your ticket price are breakfast, tea, coffee and lunch.

For more details, find the full program here http://sugsa.org.za/2013-scrum-gathering/program/

Session Selection

You can decide on the day which session you want to attend, however some sessions may require a laptop. If you don’t have one with you, don’t worry, we are agile so we love pairing. Bring your friendliest face and find a partner with a laptop who you can pair with.

Coaching Clinic

This year instead of lightning talks, we are introducing a self-organising coaching clinic where attendees will be able to book time with coaches to ask some of your burning questions . For those attendees with expertise in coaching, please do sign up to be a coach on the day!

Socials

We are hosting a drinks evening on Tuesday night in the Grill Room at Kelvin Grove. This will be great opportunity to network and refresh yourself after your first day at the event. There is no formal dress code for the entire gathering… Come as you are!

Staying Connected

Wifi will be available via AlwaysOn which is kindly sponsored by Amazon. Catch-up on the event buzz via twitter @sugsa and use #SGZA for event updates.

If you have any questions, please email info@scrum.org.za or chat to one of us at the event.

We look forward to having a magical Scrum Gathering with you!

Kind Regards,
The Scrum User Group of South Africa.
