Scrum Gathering South Africa is back again, and following last year’s highly successful integration of technical talks, we’re inviting contributions from speakers across the product, process and technical spectrum. Day 1 will feature an opening keynote, followed by breakout sessions in 3 tracks. Day 2 will feature deep dives, an open space and a closing keynote. NOTE: We’re using a new submission system this year. Please read Speaker Guidelines in full before submitting your proposal.

Theme and Track classification

Scrum Odyssey 2014

Scrum and agile take years to master and indeed the learning never stops. The journey is littered with failures and dotted with success, both providing a rich and fertile learning ground. These form the theme for this year’s Gathering: join us on a Scrum Odyssey, encapsulating the adventures, hardships and thrills the agile path brings us!

This year’s Gathering will feature 3 tracks that explore our agile journeys over time.

    1. Experiments: Hypotheses and proving them, past, present and to come
    2. Experience: Failure and success – what you have learned from either
    3. Evolution: How agile is evolving in your organisation

The sessions available are 60 or 90 minute Talks & Interactive Workshops, and 180 min Deep Dives (hands-on workshops). However if you’d like to propose an alternate duration, please motivate the time in your proposal.
