CPT June Monthly Meetup: Nurturing Curiosity – Exploring the Themes for SGZA 2019
June 27, 2019 @ 18:00 - 20:00 SAST
We as the SUGSA committee are busy preparing the Regional Scrum Gathering 2019 which is happening right here in Cape Town on 17-18 October 2019. We are super excited about this event and are keen to share this excitement with our community.
In the spirit of the event, we would like to use this month’s meetup to engage with our community to introduce and explore the below learning tracks which will be featured at the gathering:
Nurturing Curiosity: People
Discover and explore how people and teams can achieve, deliver, and thrive in Agile spaces.
Nurturing Curiosity: Product Excellence
Discover and explore ideas and techniques we can use to achieve Product Excellence.
Nurturing Curiosity: Organisation
Discover and explore Agility across entire organisations.
Nurturing Curiosity: Process and Practice
Discover and explore practical mechanics, processes, and any practices relevant to enabling Agility.
The intended outcomes and structure for the evening are:
Gaining a better understanding of the learning tracks:
We want to make sure our community is as excited about the gathering as we are, by introducing and providing some more insight into the themes related to each learning track.
Explore some interesting topics related these themes:
Following a lean coffee format, we are looking to create a safe space to discuss and explore specific topics related to the themes put forward by the attendees.
Share learnings and insights:
Close off the session by coming together to share insights, learnings and key takeaways gained during the lean coffee sessions.
The agenda for the evening will be as follows:
– 17h30: Arrival and light snacks.
– 18h00: Official start.
– 18h05-18h15: Introduction to the learning tracks.
– 18h15-19h30: Lean Coffee sessions to explore the 4 tracks.
– 19h30-19h45: Share insights and key takeaways.
– 19h45-20h00: Stick around to chat and socialise
OR: Join the coaching circle kick-off happening directly after this event
If you are thinking about submitting a talk to the gathering, the call for papers is already open and can accessed here: https://lnkd.in/gWjYEwA
Maybe the night’s discussions will inspire you to submit a talk, just keep in mind submissions close on 29 June which is only couple days after this meetup.
If you would like to attend the gathering, tickets are available here: http://sugsa.org.za/event/sgza2019/
