About the talk:
Everyone is experiencing some form of trauma, as defined in the construct of post-traumatic growth. A trauma is an individual experience of a life-altering event that is extremely undesirable and psychologically “seismic.” Core beliefs are challenged about one’s future and how to move toward that future, producing anxiety and psychic pain that is hard to manage. How do we transform the struggle into growth?
This session will explore science-based basics in processing difficult emotions to carry us forward to post-traumatic growth – more appreciation, meaning and purpose in life, deeper relationships, new opportunities, and new inner strength.

We’ll open the zoom room at about 17h30 so that we can socialise and provide some time to sort out teething problems, app downloads and other technical glitches… and then we’ll start proceedings at 18h00.
