Teach People How to Live Fully, and They Will Work Effortlessly
August 29 @ 18:00 - 19:00 SAST
Details
This talk is about showing people that high performance and getting what you want in life is no different to maturing in the agile space. The average person will spend 10 years at work, without relating their work back to their personal life in a manner that seems “safe” to do so, and there’s no better way to show you how this is “SAFe” to do so, other than comparing life, Agile, and the SAFe Agile frameworks 4 core values.
5 Main Learning Outcomes
- The 4 SAFE core values
- Understanding how to use a tool I call “Agile at home”, enabling you to use Agile in your everyday life, not just your work
- What it means to align the “fluffy stuff” with the “practical stuff” in business
- Understanding why delivering value is a perception of someone else’s expectations, and how we can fulfill delivering value to ourselves
- Understanding examples from short stories that align life to the 12 principles of the Agile Manifesto
