Why are we hosting the Regional Scrum Gathering® South Africa 2018 in Durban this year?

We know that Cape Town is a big hit when it comes to conferences, with its beautiful scenery and outgoing lifestyle. However with the water crisis that had befallen  our Mother City, and uncertainty as to whether it would be relieved in time, we decided to focus on the Durban area so as not to add additional pressure on the water system.  Fortunately Durban, and Umhlanga, has its own magnificent scenery, weather and visitor attractions.

In addition we decided to host the Gathering in Durban to expose KZN to SUGSA, and to eventually grow our community in the third largest city in South Africa ☺
